{August 31-September 2}
While Randy was in Carson City at POST
we constantly talked on the phone
about the things we wanted to do when we were all back in the same place.
Donovan always wants to go to the park.
I wanted to eat out.
We wanted to see family.
When he came home we tried to as much as we could
in the short short time we had together.
We paid for Cafe Rio all in pennies.
Best lunch ever.
We went to the park.
Donovan picked me a flower.
It was so sweet.

We went to Red Lobster's all you can eat shrimp.
Randy ate a million.
Digging in the dirt is the best...
being buried in the dirt is AMAZING!

Donovan and Josh are 5 months apart.
Zachary and Charlie are 5 months apart.

I had spent a lot of time writing and editing this post.
Only to discover that I'd already posted it.
So I decided I'm going to add it in anyway.

Randy was only home a few times during his training so we
tried to have as much fun as we could.
We walked the Ranch, picked fruit {pears} and flowers. We went to a brand new park and enjoyed
the sunshine.
We went out to lunch at Café Rio and paid completely in
pennies. The cashier just laughed
and even gave us a tres leches for free.
I
think it’s such a blessing that we can hop in the car and be at our homes in
just a few minutes. We were able
to spend some time at the Denter’s house.
The boys were so happy to bury each other and then climb out and do it
all again. We kept asking Dono if
he wanted to come out and he said, ‘No, I’m happy in the dirt.’ I think it pretty much sums up his
existence. He’s much happier when
he’s outside and getting dirty.
