We had a lot of fun fabulous parties that we attended this year.
The first of the December season was our annual
Gallegos Family Christmas Party.
I love my family.

I'm such a bum and these are the only pictures I ended up snapping.
It was fun to see my cousins and Aunts and family.

We had heard about the Festival of Trees
on USU campus and had to check it out.
We rode the bus from our house to campus.
Unfortunately it wasn't what I was used to.
A bunch of fake trees with zero of them lit up.

While we were up on campus we decided to check out
the Gingerbread Village.
It also wasn't up to par
but still fun to get out of the house.

I had three work Christmas parties.
For the IHC BHU we ate some yummy food
and I was in charge of helping with
organizing some minute-to-win-it-games.
We had a Logan City Police Department party.
Santa came!
He even brought Donovan a stuffed teddy bear.
And then I had my Dispatch party.
We wore ugly sweaters and my lovely co-worker
Sandy even dressed up as an elf.
She lost a bet :)
We had Texas Roadhouse cater at our
Ward Christmas Party.
Randy worked really hard on putting together this puzzle.

At the end of the night they had a raffle and Randy
won one of the Christmas puzzles!
He was so excited!

The cultural hall was beautifully decorated
and we had some great entertainment.

One of the parties that I was most looking forward to
was a
craft Christmas Party.
{Thanks} to my Mom
for helping me make these sewing pin cushions.
I had such a great time chatting with
women. adult. ladies.
I forget how much I need a social outlet and
this was such a blessing for me.

I kept joking with Randy that I've forgotten
how to have an adult conversation that isn't centered
on babies or children or pregnancy.
Well, it's kinda not a joke.
But practice makes perfect and I enjoyed
all of these parties and social activities so much this year.
Generally we're travelling or working or busy
and can't always attend-but I made it a special
priority to take a little time-out for party time!
