{August 13}
We decided to go on a date.
So we drove into the big city
Evanston, Wyoming.

Yummy Chinese food.

Smiles from the little one.

Donovan is a Tiger.
Randy&I are Oxen.
Moosen.

After dinner we went to a movie.
Van's first.

We love date nights.
Especially date night with the 3 of us.

We love going on walks together.

Especially at the cabin.

Prana is smiling.

He loves going on walks too.

Lately he has been getting extra jumpy in the mornings.
We try and go for a walk everyday.

Remember the fence we built-
he can leap over it without even blinking an eye.
But he tries to be a good boy and stay in the yard,
it's just hard when his best friend,
Mr. Turbo,
lives next door.

Some things to remember about puppy Prana:
he likes to sneak into bed as soon as Randy gets up
he LOVES to have his collar on
he adores visitors and wants to sit right next to them
he is definitely snack motivated
he likes pinecones

We love our puppy.

Sanded and stained an old rocking chair.

Tore down our old fence and built a new one.

Stained our old bench.

Spray painted our van.

It's fun to make old things new-ish.

My Favorite.

I was always so nervous for him to wear it.
I think it's so precious.

The dog needed some photo love.
Actually I think he was making tinkle.

Little one likes to rub his face.
Especially in soft things
like this crocheted blanket my
wonderful amazing Grandma made.

Still trying to work on picking up his huge head.

Even came with a Mommy tattoo.

Makes me smile.

I wish we could hang outside on the grass-
but it's starting to get a little chilly.
It's all about the socks and jackets and beanies.

trying something new

Van has been a little chatty Kathy lately.
We tried to catch some of it on video.

I think Randy is almost as cute as Van.

bumbo boy

He recently started making bubbles.

When he's done with sitting
he arches his back and squawks.

Most of the time he likes to be on our level.
Unless the bumbo is cold-then he'll howl
until you put a blanket under him.

But lately
we have to be careful which blanket
goes under him
because if it's too thick we can't get those
squishy thighs in the leg slots.
I love it.

He's very sensitive to cold,
which makes me nervous for this winter.
One day at a time.
