11 days old . . .

that's how old you were when you first came to the cabin.


i was 6 days old.

we are rejuvenated up here.

the cabin is getting a face-lift.
but it's still the same.

i'm glad we've been able to live here.

i feel so {lucky}

washing and cleaning

Baby D loves warm water.
He doesn't fit in the sink anymore.
He'll be graduating to the tub tub soon.

Daddy R is the cutest Dad.

I love the way Donovan smells after a bath.
I can't help but sniff him all over.

Who knew bathing could be so much fun!

Who said you can be one month old?

I certainly did not.

We spend most of our time in bed.
Napping.
Sleeping.
Napping.
Dreaming.

I love these guys.

Happy One Month!

Stop growing up.

Our little baby likes to go on walks.
We have to stick him in the car seat while we drive there.
He falls asleep in the first two minutes.

Prana likes to go for walks too.
He's dealing nicely with less space
aka the car seat.

P.S. He's been super protective of our little one.
Prana will always give the babe a kiss when he's crying.
He's super gentle with Donovan's tiny hands and toes.

My Mom has been a part of our pack for months now.
She leaves us today.

I'm missing her already.

And I know Donovan is too.
And Randy.
And Prana.

4 weeks.

i nibble on these everyday.

i can't believe how much he's grown.

lately he's started cooing.
the cutest thing i've ever heard.

i could've sworn he looked at me and smiled this morning.
i'm already a sucker for little donovan.

We had an incredible wonderful family friend
give us a BOB stroller for a baby gift.
{thank you}

We put it together at the cabin and took Donovan on walks.
The mosquitos were yucky so we bought some fabric and used it as netting.

He loves the sway and rocking of the stroller.

Wrapped up little babe.

In this picture I thought my Dad was going to explode with happiness.
Being at the cabin.
With the whole family.
Going on a walk.
With grandson.
And the dogs.

We LOVE Donovan

and so does a lot of friends and family!

While we were getting things ready for the baby
we decided it was a good idea to finish our bathroom.

There were four different colors throughout the bathroom.
We wanted just one.

Randy really wanted orange-
hunter orange.

But before we could paint we had to retexture.

So we wiped the goop on and then flattened it

with a spatula-looking tool.

We ended up compromising with the color ginger peach.
We chose lights.
We had the mirror since we'd lived in Provo
{but never had hung it up}

Randy also fixed the sink.
. . .
Tt was really starting to look like a bathroom.

We got new towels.
{Thanks Mom}
We needed a place to hang them.

I am so glad Randy is such a handy man!

This house adventure really has been possible with him.We replaced some of the shelves/cabinets that were already there.

And the finishing touch.

I'd like to thank again everyone who helped with this process!
