the bother is home.

last tuesday we
hung the WELCOME HOME sign
got balloons to go with the sign.
fed the baby geese
took our recycling to the bins
and then went to the airport!
to see the big d.o. get off the plane
my mom was trying so hard not to run in circles
i think she only did a few laps :)
my favorite moment
my second favorite moment
saying hello to the guys
the missionary moms were adorable
all the guys were showing derek what a phone could do
family photo
d kept saying,
wow-you're so BIG
more admirers who came to see d home
we had lunch from cafe rio
it was delicious
even the dogs were excited to have derek home

we sure are glad he took a time-out to serve the Lord
and the people of roseville, california

we're super-uper happy he's home!

canines.

Buster gets very hairy and we decided to give him a trim.
But Dad got a little too close the first time.
It was an adventure.
Whenever Trudy and Prana mix it's always a bustle and tussle of dog.
They are the same size. That is neat.
I love our dogs.

party for the baby boy!

We wanted to celebrate the little one.
And my beautiful friend Bree threw me a lovely party!

These two gals were adorable to watch.
Bo was a gem during the party too!
This cake was amazing.
Not only did it look phenomenal-it tasted super yummy.
Good friends.
And we played this game where you had to figure out what was in the diaper.
Worcestershire sauce.
Lemon juice.
Twix.

I was horrible at playing the game.
One of them smelled like lettuce to me.
I love these ladies.
Another game we played was-see how big Lindsay's belly is.
It had us all laughing.
Billie was the closest.
My Mom kept calling my belly a watermelon.
And then it was present time!
Briley helped me open them up.
And she even told me what some of the presents were for.
'You feed him under there, like you're hiding.'
Everyone was so thoughtful!
The weather was perfect outside.
I enjoyed the sunshine, great food and wonderful friends.
We even got to take home the balloons!
Thank you! Thank you!

I have truly loved being pregnant.
All the kicks and movements.
And this was such a great celebration.

50 people at the Hale Party!

We had a family get-together.
Lots of people came!
I love a Denter BBQ.
Sienna, Tony and Bo even decided to come along for the ride.
Lovely Aunt, a few Uncles, Grandma LaRue and Mom Denter.
More happy family.
It was fun to see all of these guys goof around.
You can definitely tell they are related :)
Good food, good laughs and lots of fun!
Let's get together again soon!
