interrupting sunday naps

We like to stop in Provo on our way
from St. George to Logan
and visit our friends.
But it seems like our timing lately
has been right in the middle of nap time.
I swear Bo made the sign for puppy.
The two of them are absolutely incredible.
They are both learning new things everyday.

I'm so inspired by that-I need to make it a point to learn new things.
When I think about becoming a mother
it makes my head spin.
I hope that I can live up to
the wonderful legacy of women
that have come before me.

gsp in training

Prana loves going to the Denter home because he gets to play play play.
We always have to see how he's doing with his pointing.
You never know who you're going to find:
Trudy
Jacob
Tank
Mya
Will
He's spot on.
It's good for the dogs to get together
and learn how to socialize.

It's like kindergarten/preschool for puppies.
It also is great because the weather is always so nice
we can stick them all outside whenever needed.
We love family.
My favorite is when Chuck cuddles with the puppies.
He's such a sweetheart.
What I'm really looking forward to is
the summer camping we're already planning.

The dogs will be one big wild tornado!

more biking

I don't think I can tell you enough
how much I loved riding my bicycle in Southern Utah.Santa Clara Reserve.
Randy and my Dad went in the fast group.
My Mom and I were in the fun group.
After the ride we went to
Cafe Rio for traditional
after-the-ride shrimp tacos.
Thanks again to my Mom
for letting me borrow a longer jersey.
My belly kept poking out of the other one.

Baby boy kicked the whole ride with excitement!

Ora said that she liked biking
because it made her feel less blimp like.
And I would have to 100% agree.
I felt free and had such a flowing experience.

shots. walks. family photos.

Our little Prana is such a big boy.
It was time for his last set of shots.
He was a champ.
He was more interested in the treats.
After the shots we decided to go for a walk.
Prana would squeal and was so excited
to follow Buddy and Buster around.
My Dad had to work for 2000 days in a row
so I was so glad when he was able to be done for a bit and come with us.
Nothing beats warm sun
family
happy puppies
and getting some fresh air.
There were so many awesome rocks along the way.
I am in love with these barrel cactus'
they are so neat.
Prana could barely hold still for a few seconds.
We loved this walk out in the Santa Clara Reserve.
We even came back a few days later to ride the trail on our bikes.

So much beauty in that area.

so many baby things

Since there isn't a Target in Logan
we hit up the one down south.

We had a fun time trying to figure out
what-in-the-heck we're going to need for our newborn.
It was really intimidating because there was so so much to choose from.
We sat there staring at the diapers for about 10 minutes.
The books were easy to choose.
I pretty much scanned them all.

What is something you {must have} for your baby?

food heaven.

When we go home we have to hit up the favorites.

25 Main.
Burger Place.
Pizza Factory.
Texas Roadhouse.
Orange Peel.
And the forever favorite: Cafe Rio.

It's nice to know that some things never change :)

riding the loop.

The Green Valley Loop is a classic ride.
We'd both been itching to get on our bikes.
The bump and the bikes.
I had this little jacket on only for a little while.
It was so nice and warm.
I wasn't a speedster
for obvious reasons.

It was so nice to get outside.
Randy was a good sport to ride slow with me.
We ran the dogs with us and they seemed to have a grand time.
To make things interesting for Randy
he'd zoom ahead and then take some pictures.

Looking out over the last stretch.
Don't worry I did talk to my Dr. pre-riding
and he said, 'just don't push it until you feel like you're going to fall over.'

So I didn't.
Push it, or fall over :)
Slow and steady wins the race.

we heart green. and the irish.

When my Mom had told me we'd been invited
to celebrate for St. Patrick's Day
for corned beef and cabbage,
I'll be honest I was nervous for a second.

But then I heard it was being cooked
by the wonderful magnificent talented Carolyn.
It was phenomenal.

My Mom says she's
doing her homework
by holding as many babies as she can.
Everything was fantastic.
Music. Readings from Irish stories. The food.
Don't forget that we each got green hats to wear.
I love these two so very much!
{Thank you}
for being such a wonderful hostess.
It's always a pleasure to be in such great company.

friends.

We love to play with friends as much as we can.

Especially cute little Logynn.
Playing Lindsay's favorite game:
Settlers of Catan.
Quinn, Brittney and adorable Quaid.
Check out that curl on the top of his head.
It makes me laugh when these Warshington boys get together.
They are like 3 peas in a pod.

I wonder if that is what it'll be like for our babies.

dentist

I told you we stopped by the dentist.
Pregnancy precautions and Randy's check-up.
Dr. Morris on Main Street has been my family dentist
for as long as I can remember.

He's the nicest guy.
I guess when you're pregnant
it's good to make sure that everything is looking good.

He gave me two thumbs up.
Randy has had some issues with his teeths-
but not this time!
It's crazy to think about my baby and his future little smile.

I can't get enough milk these days
{especially with a few Girl Scout Thin Mints}
I hope that he's getting enough calcium.

Also on a tooth-note,
Prana has lost a lot of his baby teeth.
I love him so much.
It's cute to see him smile-usually while on a walk.
He's been so sweet lately.

so much fun-not enough time

When we arrived in St. George
it was warm and lovely.

We hiked, biked, ate good food,
stopped by the dentist,
prana got his shots,
played with friends and enjoyed our families.
I couldn't believe all the popcorn on the trees.
The whole city had popcorn instead of snow on their trees.
I'm excited to share some of our week of fun with you.
I can't wait to go back . . .
this weekend :)

Loving Logan.

Before we headed south to St. George
{spring break}
the weather was warming up in Logan.

We had little flowers starting to say hello.
We went on walks with Prana and Reed
on Sunday afternoon.
It snowed today.
But I think it really wants to be spring.

So I'm crossing my fingers that
it will all be melted by tomorrow morning.

hiding in the back seat.

Prana is great to travel with.
But the past week or so
he's been hiding out
in that space
where old people keep their tissue boxes. He's getting so big.

Someday soon
he won't be able to get
even half of him up there.
