Randy and I thought it would be fun to get paintball guns and play together. We've tried several different days to get people grouped up to play. It's either been the crazy cold weather or the holidays that keeps halting our games. Finally yesterday we got our gear together: paintballs, paintball guns, full-faced masks, gloves, camouflage clothes, water to clean out the hopper, a little piece of plastic to clean out the barrel and more paintballs :)

We ended up playing with Quinn, Dane, Lucas, Nathan and two boys, Kelton and Weston, who live in the area that we were playing. We played at an old abandoned house on a hill. By the time I got there we only had enough light to play a few games. I got hit twice-once on my leg and arm. Lucas got me both times. It kinda was a suicide mission because I went for it, but my gun malfunctioned---so that was really frustrating. Randy didn't want me to get hit, so he kept telling me to stay back. He was so sweet, he wanted to protect me the whole time. I think he liked the idea of fighting to protect his family.

Quinn's little girl showed up towards the end and it was fun to see how he would take turns to play and take care of her. It's fun to see our friends with kids who still go out and play. I look forward to having a little friend to play with and teach 'em how to be a paintballer.
